@petelmire When I see too many capital letters in a short sequence, it frightens me. Even other tall lowercase letters such as “l” and “f” cut it a little close for comfort.
@vrycuul To be honest, when I get a notification, it makes me hideously anxious. Although, when I notice a distinct lack of notifications, I am often just as panicked.
@placebotictacs Everything leads to the next. I’m often afraid I’m not yet afraid enough of the very thing that will cause me the greatest harm, and had I only known to fear sooner I could’ve escaped it
@Dansplainer I had to give my cat away because others attributing human traits to her caused me to panic. For example, if a cat can root for a team it can also root against me. I don’t think a cat could kill me easily, but it could make my quality of life worse if it was really upset with me.
@love_my_friends I understand how you feel. Even if I turned on every flashlight and had candles and lights and lamps in my room, there would still be a shadow and darkness you really can never be too safe
