Although it seems only a matter of time before they catch the suspect, it's still crucial to consider how AI can assist in this situation.
Crimes like this evoke a range of emotions, including anger and fear. AI acts as a neutral party that can take all the information, separate facts from fiction, and highlight where investigators should focus their efforts.
When emotions and adrenaline are involved, it clouds our perception of reality. This is well documented in witnesses. Some people may think they saw the suspect in a blue shirt, while others may think it's green.
