@themustardthe @bigwalkingdog @Tyeronnn @Xand2501studio @Cyberlord1109 Yeah that’s a typical practice when it comes to statues or figures, if you paint a statue in just a solid colour it will still have shadows and highlights naturally but your eyes will recognise that it looks off. Light interacts differently with a statue instead of a person

@Majora__Z @skledimon I think Shin’s different stages kinda go through the different levels of a disaster, and the response to it, he starts as like a seemingly pretty random event but slowly gets more and more out of hand the more bureaucracy gets involved, and his stages kinda mirror it

@BigBadYote @arvalis Having a quick skim of my copy of fizban’s it says that their wings are shaped to propel them both through air and water, and for display I could imagine them decorating their wings and spines with magic items, since Fizban’s mentions they collect them

@BigBadYote @arvalis The backwards wings could be more for display, similar to other animals with display features, being able to maintain territory and a large hoard even with wings that would get in the way could be used to prove they’d be a good mate

@BoomerTiro @MidnightBoshi I’m pretty sure I remember them saying they wanted to pull back the amount of elder dragons so that they could make them feel as impactful as they should be, so hopefully we’ll get more interesting high tier monster fights and elders will be really suped up
