Kuvira (and Korra) fun fact number 3(???)
Korra is associated with blue (water) and yellow (spirit energy) while Kuvira is associated with green (earth) and purple (corrupted spirit energy). Blue is the inverse of Yellow and Purple is the inverse of Green.
Oh and also in Rise of the Empire the Kuvira is mostly associated with green but when she's about to kill commander Guan (when she's at her lowest), the lighting is purple. I think the purple is supposed to represent the darker side of Kuvira (or the more repressed side).

3. Did Kuvira love Bataar?
In conclusion, Kuvira can say "I love you" all she wants to Bataar, but does it really mean anything if there aren't actions and emotions to back it up? I mean, if you look at Bataar's face, I don't think even HE believed her. Kuvira is essentially trying to speedrun forgiveness.
she says, "I never had that [loyalty] in my life," despite Bataar literally being at her beck and call. He literally constructed a superweapon and a giant mech for her, and she couldn't bring herself to shed a single tear after he "died." 6/6
However, Kuvira did care about Bataar (I mean of course she did; they grew up together). Killing him was not an easy task, but she did it because their "love" is not bigger than the empire. Nothing is. 10/10
While she respects Bataar as a coworker/second in command (for his dedication to the Empire), she does not see this relationship as genuine. For example, when recognizing the Krew's, especially Asami's, loyalty to Korra, 5/6
