UPDATE: Jury reached a verdict in the Tupac Shakur murder trial just before 5 p.m. Deliberations lasted about 3 hours.

Prosecutors are back in the courtroom as is Shakur’s family and one of Davis’ sons.

During the defense’s closing argument Sanft brings up the spelling of Davis’ nickname. It is spelled like “Keffe D” on the book he published.

Now: 12 jurors to deliberate with 4 alternates. Jurors 13, 14, 15 and 16 know they are now the alternates.

He is asking the jurors what facts show that Davis was in Las Vegad the night of the shooting.

“We are confident that you will come back with a not guilty.”

Defense: whomever held that gun knew how to shoot, when talking about the bullet holes in the BMW

Sanft said Wright “pulled security” from Knight and Shakur the night of the shooting.
