It also says "estadounidense" (that's what we call you) just in case somebody says americano wrongly. Likewise, If we go to a café and ask for an "Americano" (5th meaning, below) we don't mean a US citizen.

America is a continent named after Américo Vespucio in 1507, but I guess you just don't care about these facts. Classic US-centric mindset.
