@HeatherTDay Beg to differ. I flew cross-country yesterday. Checked bag. Put purse under seat (with book, headphones, snacks etc in it) and backpack overhead (laptop, meds, other noncheckables). Not room for both under seat. Checking suitcase doesn’t forfeit overhead bin access.
