Update on Mom—

Mom is out of intensive care. She was admitted September 29 after a displaced break in the upper right femur. Surgery was a partial hip replacement (hemiarthroplasty) plus fixation of the greater trochanter. She’s now on a regular med/surg floor at hospital.

Still early — pain control, therapy, and the rest of her health issues are the focus — but leaving the ICU is real progress.
