BREAKING: Statistics Canada reports food inflation hit 5.4% in February, with Canada still at the highest food inflation among G7 countries.
Mark Carney said Canadians would judge him by the price at the grocery store, and now families are paying $1,000 more for groceries this year with hidden Liberal food taxes hitting their wallets.
Take all taxes off food so Canadians can afford to grow it, move it, and buy it, once again: https://t.co/09xEI8aiOh
Happy 1st anniversary, Mark Carney!
-Deficit doubled
-Highest food inflation in the G7
-2nd highest unemployment in the G7
-No pipelines approved
-Homebuilding dropping 15%
-Immigration system still broken
-Violent crime skyrocketing in our major cities
A year later, illusion meets reality. Congratulations, sir, you’re just another Liberal.
Tomorrow I am travelling to the United States to stand up for Canadian workers and fight for tariff-free access to our closest neighbour and the world's largest economy.
Canada must continue to make our case on how free trade is a win-win for both the Canadian and American people.
A peer-reviewed study published yesterday in a leading scientific journal found that closing a drug consumption site led to NO INCREASE in overdose deaths, but instead an INCREASE in life-saving addiction treatment.
This is the first Canadian study of its kind to use individual-level, linkable health data.
Here is what the study found after the drug consumption site closed:
There was no increase in deaths.
There was no increase in emergency department visits.
There was no increase in suspected opioid-related EMS events.
But here is what did increase:
The number of people accessing real addiction treatment.
After the site closed, users were more likely to access opioid agonist therapy.
Treatment rates at the closed site actually exceeded rates at a comparable site that remained open.
In the authors' own words:
"...an increase in mortality was not observed despite the closure of the [supervised drug consumption] site and in the context of an apparently worsening local drug supply."
"...weekly [opioid agonist therapy] dispensing among Red Deer clients increased significantly following the public announcement of site closure, and the trend continued throughout the post-announcement period."
Left-wing politicians have spent years promoting drug consumption and injection sites as a solution to the addictions crisis.
If closing a drug consumption site leads to more people getting life-saving treatment and no increase in deaths, why is the federal government still approving more of them?
Given this new study, I think this question has never been more valid to ask.

@alandrummond2 It's a really good thing that the majority of firearms owners aren't complete cucks like you and your friends. You are welcome for us standing up for property rights for all Canadians.
BREAKING: Canada is the only G7 economy that is shrinking, after the Prime Minister promised to make us the strongest economy in the G7.
Carney has kept or worsened all the same Liberal polices of the last 10 years.
No pipelines approved. No anti-development laws repealed. 17 new bureaucracies created. Deficit doubled. Spending at 30 year highs.
We cannot control what other countries do.
But we can control what we do.
If we want strength and unbreakable leverage on the world stage, we must build it here in Canada. No excuses.
Shouldn’t the amount of people needing benefits to buy groceries go down instead of up in a “thriving” economy, 3 years on?
This is what Liberals call elbows up winning and then they all clap like seals.
Here's the thing, you literal clowns intentionally facilitated Canada's descent into crime, violence and chaos for 10 years and you never lifted a finger to do anything about it. Now you are clout chasing and blaming conservatives for your crimes? You're truly bad people.
BREAKING: New Statistics Canada jobs report shows 52,000 private-sector jobs lost in January — 28,000 in manufacturing alone.
Job-killing Liberal taxes and anti-development laws are putting people out of work.
We must quickly green-light big projects, get our resources to market, and cut taxes on reinvestment in Canada so our country can be strong, sovereign, and united — and so our workers can earn the paycheques that will give them an affordable life.
These posts where made in the past 24 hrs. Why is a governing party more concerned with the opposition leader than doing their job. If Pierre Poilievre was the horrible leader they want you to believe he is you wouldn’t be seeing this.
And at a minimum, $742 million dollars to spend taking legally held firearms from licensed Canadians; hunters, sport shooters, fish & game club members.
These Liberals are not normal people. They're something else entirely.
🚨 GARY!!! Enough with the VAGUE promises of hiring 1,000 RCMP & 1,000 CBSA officers! This is what, the 8th time we’ve heard the same recycled line? 🤦♀️
Noticeably ABSENT from today’s “announcement”:
👉 Which community gets shorted when RCMP pulls 20 officers for this steal-from-Peter-to-pay-Paul redeployment? Contract policing doesn’t magically refill!
👉 ANY concrete border security action from CBSA’s O’Gorman. Zero deliverables.
👉 A real plan to EXPEDITE deportation of non-citizens charged/convicted of extortion, firearms offences, or gang crimes.
👉 Measures to crack down on fraudulent refugee claims exploiting the system.
Canadians are DONE with performative photo ops, “active listening sessions,” and meetings about future meetings! 🇨🇦
We want ACTION, not more word salads 🥗 and vague “up to” commitments while organized crime runs rampant.
Tighten the borders.
Screen properly.
Deport criminals.
NOW.
