When men say they don’t care what they’re really saying is this is not important to me and I would rather spend that decision and opinion making energy on something else more results based
people who have had very bad relationships. And we also know that they talk about finding the right person, but you know after meeting them, there will never be a right person.
Because their nervous system is not broadcasting signals of accessibility.
Me: “I don’t want Muslims in my country.”
Them: “That’s racist!”
Me: “Islam is not a race. It’s a chosen religion. They can choose not to be Muslims.”
Them: “No, they can’t! If they leave the religion, they’ll be killed!”

You barely even have to participate. You open your phone and find people who appear to have things figured out. They're living in cities you admire, pursuing projects that sound suspiciously like the ones you once mentioned at dinner, except they've somehow begun.
