At @Crosscare1 Community Café in Dublin, demand is rising as food, energy and staffing costs soar. For €5, people can still access a three-course meal — but funding remains uncertain.
Senior manager Yvonne Fleming says today’s users include families and working people struggling with rent and childcare.
Crosscare also runs a citywide food poverty casework service, offering groceries and practical financial support.
