Today, the 4th-8th grade Student Cabinet hosted a fundraiser to support schools impacted by the LA wildfires. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross for the cause! Thank you, Crossroads families, for your support in this important student-led initiative!
As part of their unit of study on Force and Motion, sixth graders used toy cars to explore Newton's second law. They investigated the relationship between force, mass, and acceleration using the cars, ramps, weights, and wooden blocks.

Last Thursday evening, our students wowed us with a spectacular Holiday Concert. We continue to be amazed at the talent that each and every one of our students showcase, and the courage they exhibit in front of a packed house! Bravo to our students and teachers!
Every year, 3rd graders create a Gingerbread creation for The Family Place Gingerbread comp. at Tracy Hall in Norwich. This year, students worked together to build a tribute to Mr. Gene Martin, who recently passed away. We hope you will stop by (12/14, 9-4) to support!
As we depart for our Thanksgiving Break, we wish all of our friends and family a wonderful, restful week with loved ones! We are truly grateful for each and every one of you!
As we celebrate the spirit of gratitude, our Middle School students recently spent the day acting on the Core Virtues they learn about each day. We had our annual Service Day, and students were excited to give back to the community both on and off campus.
2nd graders have concluded their studies of Ancient India with a celebration for Diwali! This celebration of light was marked with their creation of a beautiful Rangoli at the entrance of the school, as well as a traditional feast, lantern making, and more!
Fifth graders have taken on the role of leaders in the Lower School. In addition to helping their kindergarten and first grade buddies every week, they have been practicing team building activities in PE class. These lessons are preparing them for Middle School next year!
Last spring, Crossroads second graders planted Morning Glories in hopes that they would grow and wrap around the teepee posts. This fall, we are wowed every day by the beautiful nature-made teepee that students can sit inside!
In 2021, one of our graduating 8th graders proposed that on the 10th day of each month, students sport a tie in honor of Mr. Tenney. Today, in recognition of Mr. Tenney's 25 years of service and generosity, students celebrated our first Tenney Tie Day of the school year!
