One of the quietest forms of healing is realizing you don’t have to become a completely different person.
Sometimes you just have to come home to yourself.
The hardest part isn’t setting the boundary.
It’s trusting yourself enough to keep it, even when someone else doesn’t like it.
Peace is rarely loud—but it’s almost always worth protecting. 🖤
Apparently, “No thanks, I’m full.” is just the opening round of negotiations.
What’s the baked good you’re incapable of letting people leave without? 🍪🖤
You don’t have to announce your healing.
Just keep choosing the life that brings you peace.
The people who expected access to the old version of you will notice on their own.
Some of the most life-changing decisions are invisible to everyone else.
A boundary.
A “no.”
A peaceful morning.
A life that no longer needs permission.
The worst part?
I usually know it’s a questionable decision before I make it 😂 Apparently self-awareness and self-control are two completely different skill sets
Some days I’m the most rational person in the room.
Other days I convince myself that buying one more plant, candle, or book is a sound financial decision.
Somehow both things are true. 🖤
i miss the kind of community where people borrowed sugar, traded tomatoes from the garden, and knew which porch light to leave on when someone needed company.
maybe that’s why so many of us are trying to grow it again.
