For #CroFam - I can't help much so just share my thoughts. If you're holding NFTs on Cryptocom, please read this. Several users are currently being given only 3 weeks to withdraw everything after suspension/ service cancellation 1. I raised this many times over, but i repeat it. Cryptocom's NFT platform has serious limitations The project fees to launch there are extremely high (often 30-40%), the website and tools have seen almost no meaningful updates in years, and there is still no native bulk/multiple NFT withdrawal feature. Transfers must be done one by one (often ~1 per minute with confirmations and network delays). For hundreds or thousands of NFTs, this creates a real nightmare during a short grace period. I personally would highly discourage anyone from using it and try to rely on defi alternatives. It just simply not designed to do its job. 2. Suspensions often come with zero explanation Cryptocom operates under strict KYC/AML and banking regulations in the US, UK, and EU. They frequently suspend accounts for "compliance reasons," unusual activity, or even low-fee transactions(the 1$ ones when you dode their platform fees), and their Terms allow them to do so at their sole discretion without giving details. This is common across crypto exchanges and usually legal. 3. What you can actually do if your account is suspended - Document everything (screenshots of the notice, deadline, NFT count, support replies). - Contact support via in-app chat and email [email protected]. Clearly state: “I hold [X,XXX] NFTs. The manual one-by-one withdrawal process makes it impossible to complete within 3 weeks. Please extend the deadline and/or provide a bulk export/assisted transfer method.” Stronger options by region: 🇪�� EU users, you are lucky!: Send a GDPR Subject Access Request (SAR) to their Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. Request all your personal data, the exact reasons/legal basis for the suspension, and details of any automated decision-making. They must reply within 1 month. If the response is inadequate, escalate to your national data protection authority (e.g. ICO in UK, CNIL in France, etc.). Non-compliance can lead to fines. 🇬🇧 UK users, you are too: After using their formal complaints process (email [email protected]), you can escalate for free to the Financial Ombudsman Service if unresolved. Mention the unreasonable 21-day window for manual NFT withdrawals. 🇺🇸 US users, Congrats, you have no consumer rights, Welcome to capitalism: Your best chance to file complaints with your state Attorney General or the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau), highlighting hardship in returning your assets. For high-value holdings, a formal demand letter from a lawyer can sometimes push them to extend deadlines or assist. General tips that have helped others: - Public but polite pressure on X (tag cryptocom with your ticket number, without doxxing) can sometimes get a specialist assigned. - Keep pushing support for a deadline extension or manual assistance - persistence + documentation works in some cases. - Long-term advice: Never keep large NFT collections on any centralized platform. Self-custody is safer. Nacho keys Nacho crypto. Cryptocom has a strong legal/compliance team and avoids public backlash. But companies do sometimes bend when enough users speak up with clear evidence of hardship which we have seen this previously.
