“ no . . . just annoyed that i’m no good with one , my whole family is except me . . ”
she would drop the sword , seemingly done with her lack luster practice .
she would turn around at the company , surprised . lips would quirk upwards , “ whatcha doing here ? seeing me fail ? ”
she would answer her own question with a giggle .
a giggle would follow , “ okay , okay—i’m listening to. . . ”
fixing her posture , she would slyly move closer to the venator’s touch . “ like that ? ” she would look up , eyelashes fluttering with every blink .
“Luxanna,” the Venator murmured lowly, noticing her attention drifting. Black eyes narrowing when asked to repeat himself. A small sigh escaped the man.
He reached down, a hand touching her side, shifting her foot into proper position. “Does this help?”
she would silently follow his movements—his guidance—eyes squinting in a faux concentration , mind clearly placed on something else .
sword wielding was not a favorite of hers . . and she made that very clear . yet another reason as to why she was so bad—escaping lessons &&.
“Regardless, better to have someone who knows what they’re doing to show you the ropes.” He responded coolly. “Now, take a step forward, like this…”
He was slow, calculating in his guidance, his fingers a hair’s breadth from her form. Taking her through the steps, showing --
slowly follow hands , body moving easily to his guidance .
“ it still feels the same to me . . ” she did feel a difference , the mage was just stubborn .
a huff would escape lips , a small pout . “ well , my brother isn’t exactly a great teacher—” she would mumble , trying to save face . . . after all , he was ten times stronger than she was and larger . . his tips never worked with her physique .
blue eyes would &&.
“It’s hard not to you, it’s like seeing a bird try to swim.” He remarked dryly. He took a step forward, approaching her.
“Here,” he started slowly, shifting the blade with one hand as he adjusted her footing with the other. “You want to be holding it like this…”
a glad hum would follow , enjoying the feeling of the cold metal touch her forehead .
it was the small things that always kept her enamored and wanting more . always so understanding , sweet , strong—she could go on and on if she wanted to .
“It’s okay,” he started slowly, leaning in, his steel visor gently touching her forehead. A tenderness in his voice, a warmth only she would hear, would know. “All that matters is you’re here now…”
Steel digits shifted, cupping her chin lifting it up gently. Dark eyes --
cheeks would warm at the touch , surprised at the sudden softness . however , she instinctively leaned into his touch , eyelashes fluttering as she admired him .
“ i missed you too—” excitement evident in her tone , “ didn’t mean to keep you waiting . . ”
&&.
He shifted, lowering his weapon, slow steps taken towards the blonde. Black hues remaining, lingering on her. Armored digits reach forward, touching the loose locks of her blonde hair before moving to touch her face, cupping her cheek in his large hand.
“I missed you.”
