I'm closing my Etsy for the upcoming week (April 11-18) in support of the strike BUT I also support all sellers who cannot afford to be closed for the entirety of this period or at all. I support the survival of creators even if it means using platforms that frustrate you

Please get #EtsyStrike trending this week by saying you stand in solitary with sellers, signing and sharing the petition, etc.

The more media outlets who press Etsy for a statement, the more bad press they get - that's more likley to make change than the seller strike itself.

The Etsy seller strike and boycott starts today. As of friday strike organizers told me over 13,000 shops had signed on to close their stores this week. To my knowledge it’s the largest action of its kind sellers have ever organized.
