Guys, PLEASE start watching ANIME.
It is a whole different world out there, and a brilliantly creative one at that. The stories, the humour, the characters... just outstanding!
You can pick from a whole range of genres - action, romance, adventure, comedy, slice of life & more.
Data centers, massive ones, are being brought by monopoly capitalists such as Google, Meta, Adani and Ambani, Amazon etc to India. Please watch these videos to know what can be expected.
I genuinely don’t understand how we are supposed to casually process that a glacier literally collapsed in Nepal, erasing 19 bridges and killing over 600 people, because the planet is too hot. And instead of stopping it, billionaires are building more data centres. It is completely psychotic.
My friend and former Washington Post colleague @ishaantharoor has a piece in @NewYorker today that gets at something I've been trying to put into words all week: what happened this week isn't just a natural disaster story; it's a story about who pays for a crisis they didn't help create.
Ishaan traces how a catastrophic glacial collapse became a 500+ death toll, and threads it into everything else Nepal has been carrying in the past year: a Gen Z uprising, a new government trying to prove itself, and now a disaster that will likely set the country back a decade.
We spoke the other day about how my newsroom has been covering this and what this moment feels like from Nepal. Here's what I told him: a year ago the ground shook because of us -- our politics, our anger, our frustration. This week, it was the actual ground again. It’s as if Nepalis are having to alternate between the disasters we cause and the ones that just arrive.

Actually a little saddened to see “the world’s largest political party” be drunk on so so so much hate that they don’t see any problem in calling for MASS MURDER of a generation that believes in questioning those in government and simply demanding a better system and a brighter future for themselves. It’s literally what Hitler did with jews in Nazi Germany.
How did we allow ourselves to get here? How did we ever feel this was “normal” to post?
These people do not believe in the Constitution. They truly do not believe in the concept of respect and tolerance for each other’s views and opinions. They truly do not believe that a democracy only lasts when answers are demanded from those elected. This is truly not the idea of India our Gandhis and Ambedkars believed in. It is sad. It is downright disgusting. I hope we are able to get out of this ugliness that has taken over our beautiful nation. We got our independence after much struggle. And so we should never allow such scums to be in positions of such great responsibility.
Truly disgusted.
First, he created a ruckus in the Food Department, then reformed them, and now he's entered the medical field.
We're talking about FDA Commissioner IAS Tukaram Munde, who yesterday revoked Cipla Pharma's license in Pune.
At Cipla Pharma, Tukaram Munde found violations in the drug promotion and labeling.
In this, he took major action by confiscating the stock of Reactin Plus medicine worth approximately Rs. 11.19 lakh and ordered the recall of this medicine which was in the market.
Now FDA Commissioner Tukaram Munde is entering every area and this fear will bring people back on their right track.

Once upon a time in colonial Madras, a young medical student walked into class wearing a swadeshi surgical apron made of hand-spun khadi, the cloth Gandhi had turned into a symbol of resistance to British goods. Years later, he gave the world chemotherapy.

I think the Kriti Sanon outfit issue is more of a class issue, you go to any elite high society festival gathering and you will find girls in the prettiest shiny bralettes ever and no one will be making a fuss about it. The mindset of middle class people in India specially men is really questionble.
Also I get some people are upset because brands don't actively show their activism in other festivals but c'mon guys why are we even comparing ourselves to any oppressive and hateful community.🤷♀️
