@MarcelMTG@baegopahPanda@wizards_magic If someone wants to give up a badge for most of Friday but that seems unlikely. It's not a huge deal for me, it was already a 3.5 hour drive vs creating a list to sell in groups online, mostly bringing it to attention as it seems like a bad deal for vendors paying to be there
PSA you can't access the vendor hall of events anymore without a ticket, so local stores coming to offload extra stock to vendors at major @wizards_magic events be aware. So guess I won't be in Chicago. Terrible policy for vendors who are already charged a great deal.
@magicwizar39116 @AkiyamaTam90729 @wizards_magic If capacity is an issue yeah I can see that, seems like it's simple enough since they aren't in the same hall even as I understand it to make the exhibition hall free and charge to get into the players hall.
@SquirrelBryan @wizards_magic I haven't even been able to find a vendor list on the website which is also annoying, I can find the 400 creators that will be there but no mention of a vendor on the wizards website outside of I think I saw something about F2F on a random banner.
@SquirrelBryan @wizards_magic Sure if I knew exactly what vendor I wanted to sell too and how to contact them to set that up, assuming they have an extra person to give up from the booth. But I could arrange that any time then, what's the point of going to the event?
@AkiyamaTam90729 @wizards_magic I'm not interested in playing, I'm a store looking to unload extra cards, the best place to do that, historically, has been major events with a larger than average number of vendors.
@bashmcalister So much mismanagement involved with both Troll and WotC, I've seen this a few times and the more I think on it it's hard to tell how much of this is a convenient exit from something Ben didn't have much interest in vs a legitimate move we will see more stores make.
@bashmcalister Same, I couldn't be happier with the switch. SAR is a way more sustainable version of serialized cards and Pokemon has had that on lock for years. MTG should just break down and pay Pokemon for the rights to their foiling process.
What an unceremonious ending to the one ring saga. I hope the costumer still gets the 2mil, the store that took on the responsibility handled the situation super poorly it seems. Even if you are greedy enough to grade it, you traded this for a PSA 9....
@TitusLunter And yet someone has a PSA 9 instead, I'd be real tempted if I'm the buyer to recase it, but I can't imagine that process won't make you sweat.
