Life-time deals on AI SaaS is a stupid idea.
The openai/claude/gemini etc. API calls will likely form a significant percentage of your monthly costs.
Therefore you should charge monthly!
If you can't charge monthly, you're not solving the right problem.
I don't believe there is a reasonable justification otherwise.
- "I need initial users!"
Offer a free trial.
- "I need initial feedback!"
Offer a free trial.
- "I need some quick cash!"
It's an unsustainable strategy.
- "I'll eventually switch to MRR!"
Most people buy LTDs because of the LTD rather than the product! There's no guarantee your product will make any MRR.
This is not directed at anyone and I'm sorry if I've offended you. Happy to discuss this, maybe I'm missing something? 😊

@lsidoree @_buildspace@FarzaTV@benjamincode The SaaS is a little different to what I'm building, but it looks good, thanks! Checked it out and it looks like a really good base reference :)
@138_em@_buildspace There like 2 primary ways you can monetize: subscription or usage-based
I feel like it should be usage-based or there should be some features that are locked for pro-users. Try to optimise and fine-tune cheaper ai models aswell.
@ShrikarLekkala@_buildspace@FarzaTV The current influencer marketing process is pretty conflicted as there are many factors to manage between creators and brands. I will incentivize creators to join as it will give them a larger brand reach + work with agencies to bring their creators in.
@AlexChhk@_buildspace@FarzaTV Currently got a couple of creators from here in the UAE ready - but I think that we can start by partnering with agencies
My entire mind creatively just centers around the romantic idea of being in an 80s film, driving a convertible Ferrari past palm trees at sunset, surrounded by pink neon lights, with a tanned brunette in the passenger seat - building the brand is just chasing this feeling 🌴🔮
