Introducing Matchlock.....

Currently building this for a hackathon and I'm genuinely excited about where it's headed: peer to peer sports betting on Solana, no bookmaker sitting in the middle taking a cut or holding your funds hostage.

Here's how it's shaping up. Two people agree on a bet, funds get locked in USDC escrow on chain, and when the game ends, TxLINE oracles feed in the real result with a Merkle proof you can independently verify. Nobody's trusting a centralized book to settle fairly. Nobody's waiting on a payout that "should" arrive. The smart contract just does what it says it'll do.

I've been frustrated with traditional sportsbooks for a while now (the vig, the frozen accounts, the "terms and conditions" that always seem to favor the house), so building something where the code is the referee felt like the right problem to chase this weekend.

Still early, still very much a work in progress, but the core escrow and settlement flow is coming together. If this resonates with you, a feedback would mean a lot, and it tells me to keep pushing this forward.

A balanced full-stack developer is a developer who is fairly proficient in UI/UX design, front-end development, and back-end development, but not necessarily an expert in any single area.

They bring just enough skill to the table especially when the goal is to build user facing applications that don’t require deep specialization in either domain like low-level backend operations or highly complex frontend architectures and animations.

Full-stack developers like these are often freelancers, can work independently, and are best hires for small scale applications and short-term contracts.

The free function is part of the C standard library and is used to release memory that was previously allocated with the malloc function.

Programs use malloc to reserve space in memory, and once they’re done using it, they call free to release it.

The free function doesn’t delete the data, it simply marks the memory as available so that another program can reuse and overwrite the buffer that used to occupy that space.
