I couldn't agree more, when you have a big following it's your sole responsibility to post things that are correct & verified. Little/half knowledge is dangerous. So it's better to avoid posting unless you are sure about it.

I genuinely feel sad for newcomers in trading and investing who follow big accounts with 50K, 100K, or even 200K followers, only to find the same news being copied and pasted with no real understanding behind it.

Take the recent CPI data as an example it was actually bullish, and that’s exactly why U.S. markets have been printing new all-time highs since then. But many presented it as bearish because they didn’t even understand what consensus means or how it’s calculated.

If you have a large following, please understand that your words carry weight. You’re not just posting, you’re teaching, whether you realize it or not.

Think of it like being a teacher; and in finance, that’s a huge responsibility because people are learning from you and building their mindset around your explanations.

When you share half-knowledge, you’re not just confusing them, you’re shaping their understanding in the wrong way and that can affect them for years.

Even something like Amazon’s mass layoffs, which most accounts label as “bearish,” can actually be bullish.

Lower consumption means lower inflation, which pushes the Federal Reserve closer to rate cuts, a positive for markets. But to see that, you need real macro understanding, not just headlines.

So, my humble request, if you don’t deeply understand a topic, it’s perfectly okay not to talk about it.

Learn first, research, connect the dots, and then share. Half-knowledge is far more dangerous than silence.

Let’s make this space more responsible, factual, and educational, so that newcomers grow the right way and our community becomes stronger together.
