💡Proof of Stake (PoS) and Proof of Work (PoW) are two different mechanisms used in blockchain technologies to achieve distributed consensus and maintain the security and integrity of the network.

📍Proof of Work (PoW) is a method where miners have to use powerful hardware to solve difficult puzzles to add blocks to the blockchain, like in Bitcoin. This process uses a lot of energy and has raised concerns about its impact on the environment.

🌱Proof of Stake (PoS) is a method in blockchain where validators are chosen based on the amount of cryptocurrency they hold and stake. It requires less energy than PoW, as validators are rewarded with transaction fees for adding new blocks and validating transactions. The more a user stakes, the higher their chances of being selected as a validator.
