Day 15 of #100DaysOfCode
Learnt a different way of using APIs with React and then used React-router-dom to create new Routes within a React project. This React thing is really starting to prove to be very powerful and fun.
Day 14 of #100DaysOfCode
Working with APIs and useEffect today using React, excited to look back on these tweets getting closer to 100, consistency is key.
Day 13 of #100DaysOfCode
Close one tonight, nearly didn't get the hour in. I am now over 1/4 of the way through this React tutorial and things I have learnt previously through small projects are really starting to become second nature, lovin' it!
Day 12 of #100DaysOfCode
Today got on with my Youtube React video, not much to say, just working through really getting my understanding of React down. Starting to love it
Day 11 of #100DaysOfCode
Settled into an 8 hour React Tutorial Video today, great video from PedroTech on youtube.
Moving through the beginning quite quickly and getting excited for more React tricks and then Redux
Day 10 of #100DaysOfCode
Today I began learning about React lifecycle methods, I completely finished my latest React project, and touched up my portfolio with some slightly different padding/margins to make it easier to read on tablets.
Day 9 of #100DaysOfCode
Today I have recruited a new coder to #100DaysOfCode.
I jumped onto a React project (at 9pm, silly) and was able to get out another couple functions and pass some props around. Definitely need a youtube tutorial on React next week.
Day 8 of #100DaysOfCode
Today has been less coding than usual. But as a Front-end/Full-stack, I have to sharpen my Figma/design skills too!
Today was spent on Figma, researching UX/UI and then just to wet my VSCode whistle I jumped in to create this handleDelete function.
Day 6 of #100DaysOfCode
Today has been a lot of learning, I have had conversation with a career specialist about changing my CV and portfolio, set up a job interview, and learned more within React, specifically based around the coding interview.
Day 7 here I come
Day 5 of #100DaysOfCode
Today has begun with taking my React CV project, tidying up some .js code and then applying CSS to make it a little easier to use.
First 5% of #100DaysOfCode down!
Day 4 of #100DaysOfCode
This beautiful Sunday morning I sat down to work on the final section of my React application.
I have noticed that writing much of the code is beginning to make sense to me with the like 10% needing to be thought about/checked. Consistency is key!
Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode and today I realised I had accidentally used height instead of width as media queries for my portfolio site so I had to completely start over. Created a far better finishing project and won't make that mistake again... hopefully...
Day 2 of #100DaysOfCode
Finishing my react project from #TheOdinProject, still working on understanding state and props but getting better each time I open VSCode
