I’m a huge fan of @alliekmiller, and this post is a great example of why.
One of the biggest mistakes I see organizations making right now is using AI to optimize existing processes without questioning whether those processes should exist in the first place.
As Allie points out, many of the workflows, reports, handoffs, and deliverables we rely on today were designed around constraints that existed in 2016, 2019, or even earlier. Thanks to AI, those constraints are changing fast.
During ATC @CryptoLandy has talked about how there are companies spending $$ on AI consultants and advisors without seeing ROI. One reason is these consultants are still asking the wrong question: “How do we do this faster?” instead of “Why are we doing this this way at all?”
AI isn’t just a productivity tool. It’s an opportunity to rethink products, services, customer experiences, and entire business models. This is how real transformation happens.
Btw Allie’s follow-up post includes the actual prompt she uses.
Don’t forget to follow @alliekmiller and to join ATC spaces Monday to Thursday at 5:30 pm ET (cc @DCBK2LA)
