@Chopcorpsol introduces the "Seasons" update on its V2, bringing dynamic mining. There will be 2 seasons: Summer and Winter. TL;DR, Summer has fixed Log emissions (better for mining) and Winter (better to hunt the Lumberlode) only provides Logs from buybacks and higher burning.

Lumberlode only hits on Winter but mining through both Summer and Winter gives Lode points. The higher the Lode points, the bigger the piece of the LL one can win.
