I fail upwards... from the first day I have gotten details wrong, made incorrect assumptions, and inadvertently spread misinformation.

Thankfully, people have been gracious enough to correct me and continue to do so. To all the people who have provided support and words of encouragement I thank you. We have reached this point together and we are ready for a unified theory of what we witnessed that day that will eliminate any unnecessary complexity.

The last piece of the puzzle arrives tomorrow and we will finalize the thesis with an accurate and reproducible model of the device. I hope others more capable than myself will take this information and reproduce the event to prove the validity of the thesis.

Everything we need to explain what happened that day is housed in the device's plastic case. The plastic fragmentation is from the face of the device, the shirt is raised by the circuit board and spacer, and the wound is caused by the battery. I will replicate as many details as I can and provide instructions for others to replicate the remaining details that I can't because of restrictions beyond my control.

The magnetic clasp indeed stays connected to the shirt and the clip but not the microphone case. This was a huge hurdle for me to overcome and I apologize for getting this detail wrong. Studying the necklace movement led me to this discovery as I realized the necklace never moved from his left shoulder. This discovery made the pendant movement causing his shirt to raise up around his face impossible and forced me to reevaluate the movement. After analysis I discovered a few pictures of a disassembled RØDE microphone and the PCB board stuck out to me… I recognized it peaking out from behind the shirt collar. Comparing the two front angles of the video with the shape and pattern of the PCB board exposed the last details needed for me to piece together the events of that day. Confirmation of the size and density of the PCB and battery aligns with my previous wound recreations and adds simplicity to the mechanics of the event. Once I have the device in hand I will make the final measurements needed to complete the theory and design the shaped charge cone to fit inside the device to finally recreate the events of that day. We have come a long way and I am beyond grateful for everyone's help, this has been a community effort and I am humbled to be the messenger. More to come…
