Why we anchor structure levels to candle BODIES, not wicks:
A wick spike through a swing high isn't commitment. A body close through it is.
Wick-anchored levels generate fake CHoCHs all day. Body-anchored levels don't.
A no-wick candle in the middle of chop = nothing.
A no-wick candle right after a change of character = one-sided flow confirming the reversal.
Context is the whole edge of any pattern.
No-wick candle, defined:
Bullish: open == exact low. Never traded below its open.
Bearish: open == exact high. Never traded above its open.
Rare on clean markets. That's exactly why they're worth marking.
Most candles have wicks. Both sides traded.
A candle with NO wick means one side was in control from the very first tick.
That's not noise. That's information.
