Ken Griffin summed it up perfectly here.
Inflation is still running high, the dollar just saw its biggest six-month drop in fifty years, and gold keeps setting new records. Money is slowly leaving assets that depend on trust and moving into things that can stand on their own such as gold and bitcoin.
Griffin’s last point is the one people should pay attention to. Foreign investors are still buying U.S. stocks, but they’re now hedging their returns into local currencies. They want exposure to American companies without being stuck in a currency that’s losing value faster than anyone expected.
This shift says a lot about how confidence in the dollar is changing. For decades, global investors never questioned the safety of holding U.S. assets. Now they’re being more careful, treating the dollar like something that can fail them if debt and inflation keep climbing.
Gold’s rally tells the same story. People aren’t buying gold just because it’s shiny or nostalgic. They’re buying it because they don’t trust policy, they don’t trust data, and they don’t trust that the system is stable. Griffin said, “just look at the price of gold,” and he’s right the market already knows what’s happening.
The U.S. isn’t falling apart, but the world is adjusting. Investors still believe in American innovation, but they’re no longer willing to go all-in on the dollar. They’re keeping one foot in growth and the other in safety. And that’s how you know the system’s confidence problem has started.

Jeff Booth just broke my brain on Simply Bitcoin.

• How much Bitcoin you truly need to retire
• Why all $900 trillion in assets are worthless
• The moment deflation becomes unstoppable
It took me hours to process his logic. Here are 6 revelations that shattered everything: 🧵
