We believe in community tokens that can sprout from nothing and form a movement. We believe in fundraising tokens that can help to create the next billion dollar protocol. We believe in currency tokens that can advance payments and economies. But we believe all of our tokens today can be better.

That’s why we’ve invented Evolving Hook Tokens. Linked is a simple whitepaper describing the simple concept. EHTs are a token standard in which custom hooks can be added to, removed from, and adjusted within your token at any time. EHTs can be infinitely customizable with various tax types, gamification, and additional functionality.

Your trade-based tax, taxshare token (flat tax on every trade that’s immediately dispersed to holders) may take off and you decide it’s best for the company to evolve to a time-adjusted profit-based tax, staking, demurrage token (taxes are charged only on profits, they decrease the longer someone holds, and token balances degrade if not being staked or in a liquidity pool) to encourage people to hold tokens longer and more productively.

That’s a lot of fancy words to say developers of a token will have previously unheard of opportunities to profit, encourage desirable trading, add functionality, and adjust strategies over time.

Our memecoin launchpad is the start of all of this. Memecoins provide us the perfect opportunity to experiment with these concepts without risking an underlying business. On our launchpad, EHT memecoins will be able to be launched with the click of a button, traded immediately, updated as time goes on, and researched intensely. We plan to create a more advanced launchpad as well, but memecoins are a perfect initial playground for this concept.

At launch we’ll have a few unique gamified token types for people to begin playing with: lottery tokens, ponzi tokens, and charity tokens. These will provide people a palatable taste of what’s to come. In the coming months we’ll be finalizing code of EHTs and producing more hooks that can be added. After that, we’ll continue pumping out as many hooks as possible to discover the best way for every token in every stage of its life to function.
