The annual return of the woodpeckers has begun! Little buggers like to peck at the metal vents on top of the house. Many of my neighbors have metal roofs, so you hear random 'songs' in the morning coming from their homes. It only lasts a few weeks though.

Wow, just got the news that Sam Ash, a music store icon for 100 years, is closing all its locations. The flagship NYC store closed in March. When I was younger and living out east, I would take the train into the city and head to 34th street every few months to check out all the amazing keyboards. Some fond memories, sad to see the end of an era.
