@AHS_Warranty me again…. So I had a credit for a free service call due to multiple issues. Used my credit and y’all have repeatedly stated I owe the $137 fee. Even though it was supposed to be processed. I’ve called a dozen times and spoken to reps.
“Most people don’t realize how bad this is … ”
Shawn Ryan just had a “holy shit” moment.
Mike Rowe dropped stats that expose a massive ticking time bomb.
“There’s 7.5 million open jobs.”
“Most don’t require a 4-year degree.”
But “student debt is $1.7 trillion.”
“We’re lending money we don’t have to these same kids who are never going to be able to pay it back to train them for a bunch of jobs that don’t exist anymore.”
“It’s stupid.”
“You’ve got 6.9 million able-bodied men who are not only not working, they’re not looking for work.”
“That’s never happened.”
“We have a colossal imbalance in the workforce.”
“Not a week goes by, I’m not even exaggerating, that mikeroweWORKS doesn’t hear from the leader of some consequential industry or the CEO of a big company or some elected official who is really ringing the alarm bell.”
“Blue Forge Alliance, the company that oversees the maritime industrial base … they’re 15,000 companies who are collectively charged with delivering our nuclear-powered subs.”
“They called, they’re like: we’re having a hell of a time finding welders and electricians, can you help?”
“I said: maybe, how many you need?”
“400,000.”

@potterybarn why are the only Teen bedding choices available in King meant for girls? TBH boys need bigger beds in the teen years based on growth and size alone.
A 22-year-old student teacher in Illinois sent a private Snapchat message to her boyfriend and two roommates.
A student had walked up to her laptop and deleted her lesson plan mid-class. frustrated, she typed something like "should I shoot him" with a gun emoji. venting. four people. private group chat.
An hour later, police walked into her school and arrested her.
here's what happened in between.
Snapchat's AI scanned the private message. flagged it as a potential threat. automatically reported it to the FBI. the FBI forwarded it to local law enforcement. deputies arrived at the school within the hour.
she cooperated immediately. handed over her phone. when shown the message she said: "oh yes. okay. yeah. i'm realizing that was a bad joke. i did not mean it at all serious at all."
police determined she was not a threat. school officials determined she was not a threat. prosecutors reviewed and issued a disorderly conduct charge. she was released the next morning. she lost her student teaching placement.
This means:
Snapchat scans private messages.
Not just public posts or stories. private group chats between you and your closest contacts. automated AI. no human reviewed it first, got flagged and reported.
Snapchat AI → FBI → local police → school → arrest.
in under an hour.
Snapchat's privacy policy says it may share your information with law enforcement when it believes there is a risk of harm. the definition of "risk of harm" is determined by an algorithm.
you are not told when a message is flagged.
you are not told when a report is filed.
you find out when the police arrive.
the message was private.
it wasn't.
@_xWinter_@DougWahl1 Probably bc it wasn’t a single person restroom. There were multiple stalls, the man just wanted to make a scene. In a men’s restroom there are urinals which means young girls would likely see someone if it isn’t a single stall
Rep. Tim Burchett just filled up his dually and called it.
“The price of gas is a scam.”
America buys zero oil from Iran.
The gas in your tank right now was bought weeks ago at the old price.
The oil is already in the pipeline.
They raised your price anyway.
“Prices go up like a rocket and come down with a parachute.”
Whoopi Goldberg finally realizes that seeing a name on a list does not equal guilt. It's funny how the standard shifts when it is one of their own. By defending herself, she just accidentally made the most valid argument for Donald Trump that we have heard yet.
@burgosa_94@AHS_Warranty Our water heater is completely busted- had a contractor come out who submitted a replacement request. It was approved, but the contractor now demands an additional 750 in “modifications” before coming back. AHS won’t give me a report of what they are paying or cash out
@WatsonW01582334@AHS_Warranty Currently dealing with @AHS_Warranty regarding a water heater. Contractor they sent said full replacement and it was approved, then notified of $750 uncovered “modifications” and I am being given the runaround by AHS. 2-3 before anyone returns info and zero help on cash out
@AHS_Warranty why are you hiring contractors that scam customers with extremely high additional costs and fees? Scamming the customers when they need major appliances is ridiculous.
@rugsusa Hi! I have emailed. And called. And I sent multiple pictures. The agent told me that it is an acceptable color variation. However I ordered a charcoal gray and navy rug, only to receive a turquoise/aqua and cream/tan colored rug. Wasted $ - same rug is less on wayfair!
@rugsusa sent me an incorrect rug and refuses to correct it or make it right.
I will never do business again with this company.
They are claiming it is a manufacturing color variations - however I ordered the Shannon rug and they sent me a rug with a tag labeled Juliette
15 year old Thomas Medlin is still missing after he traveled to NYC to meet someone he met on Roblox.
Did you hear about his story?
Did you hear about ANY missing child this week?
How about last week?
No?
Oh, right, it’s the Nancy Guthrie world & we are just living in it.
I apologize for being harsh, but I’ve had enough.
TENS OF THOUSANDS of children are missing & no one cares about anything but an 84 year old woman from Arizona.
A woman who has DOMINATED all news networks for 2 WEEKS.
I pray they find her, but this is obsessive coverage & it’s exhausting when no one else has this kind of news “privilege” when they go missing, especially CHILDREN.
