Dear MCA,
Despite sincere efforts to upgrade to MCA21 V3, the portal continues to face serious functional issues, causing significant hardship to professionals. Many are compelled to work late nights as the system remains unstable during peak hours.
A robust and reliable platform is essential for professionals to efficiently support compliance and contribute to the nation’s economic growth. Technology upgrades are welcome, but not at the cost of professionals’ mental and physical well-being.
We have compiled and shared a list of recurring technical errors that are directly hindering timely filings. In this backdrop, we humbly request a reasonable extension of statutory due dates, while the portal stabilisation continues.
A working system will benefit all stakeholders.

Raised a ticket because MGT-7A does not allow entering Latitude & Longitude. MCA reply: “The fields are editable. Kindly update and proceed. Dear MCA, We know how to fill forms. We raise tickets because the system doesn’t work.@HelpdeskMCA21V3
Spend months in preparing balance sheet, coordinate with Company and management, spend more time in filling up form, face all the challenges,
face more issues while uploading the form, affixing DSC
face more issues while making payment.
Everything takes 5 to 10 attempts minimum. How shall we justify why filings are looking slower this year?

In India, the MCA V3 Portal brings shivers down the spine. What used to take 45 mins, now takes 4 hours. It’s not an upgrade for professionals, it’s a nightmare. We need systems that work with us, not against.

The @icsi_cs has submitted a representation to @MCA21India seeking an extension of due dates for annual return filings due to persistent technical glitches.
Post introduction of MCA V3, tasks that earlier took 30 minutes now consume 4 hours or more.
Instead of simplifying compliance, the portal has become a challenge for professionals.
We respectfully urge the MCA to grant an extension in the interest of professionals and industry.
There is no intention to delay—only genuine system constraints.

Two documents were successfully uploaded using the same DSC. However while uploading the third document, the system shows an error that the DSC verification has failed. This is confusing. Still MCA people are claiming that the website is functioning properly. @HelpdeskMCA21V3
MCA V3 : A Missed Opportunity in System Design
The rollout of MCA V3 was intended to be a transformational upgrade with modern interface, faster processing, and a future-ready compliance ecosystem.
However, in its current form, it reflects a critical policy and implementation gap.
The Government missed a clear opportunity by not introducing offline filing utilities, on the lines of the Income-tax Return (ITR) offline utilities.
When the entire system is dependent on continuous online availability, even a minor technical disruption brings the compliance machinery to a standstill.
Unlike ITR utilities where data preparation, validation, and saving can be done offline and uploaded later, MCA V3 requires professionals to remain logged in throughout the process.
As a result, Peak-period filing has become chaotic, not because of non-compliance, but because of system unavailability. Also, productivity of professionals is severely impacted, despite full preparedness on their part.
Given that MCA filings are transaction-heavy, time-sensitive, and volume-driven, a robust offline mechanism was not just desirable but it was essential.
An offline utility would have:
✅ Reduced server load during peak hours
✅ Enabled uninterrupted preparation of forms
✅ Allowed controlled, staggered uploads
In its current structure, MCA V3 remains online 24×7 in theory, but unavailable precisely when it is needed the most. Technology should act as a facilitator of compliance, not a bottleneck.
Going forward, introducing offline utilities for key MCA forms and adopting a hybrid filing architecture is no longer an enhancement but it is a necessity. Until then, MCA V3 will continue to fall short of its stated objective of ease of doing business, despite the best efforts of professionals using it daily.
