Since the start of the war in Gaza some 18 months ago, we have resumed work at the outpatient department of the St John Eye Hospital in the Gaza City.
More than 59 patients have been treated on the first day. We hope this is the start of a peaceful era.
After a long period of interruption we are most proud to announce our teams have performed the first major eye surgery in Gaza today. This is an exciting start!
Thanks to our dedicated team of doctors and nurses who continue to give hope to the most needy people.
Renovation of outpatient clinics at our Gaza Hospital has been completed.
We should commence services at the Hospital next week.
