The remaining three types of keys to be added to SORA L1 and the quantum-resistant multisig are expected to be released starting from the RC version.
Currently, the latest version (stable version) of SORA L1 is equipped with a "locality key" generated by [getkeyentangle] as the first key. By matching keys with Ethereum through [importprivethkey], it recognizes the same address as Ethereum, and from there, a dedicated address for entangling with SORA is obtained through [getkeyentangle].
Notably, this dedicated address for entangling is different from the address linked to the account (it's not simply linked by account name). Therefore, the address obtained through [getaccountaddress] by passing the account name and the address obtained through [getkeyentangle] can be confirmed to be different.
When SORA is sent to the address obtained through [getkeyentangle], SORA arrives at the Ethereum-style address. This is the mechanism of the "locality key".
Next, the "non-locality key," which will be the second key to be mounted in the RC version, does not require [getkeyentangle], eliminating the need for it and incorporating the hidden address into the Ethereum-style address.
Since it's non-locality, it necessitates the propagation of information to the SORA network. At this time, a certain amount of SORA's permanent lock is required for one non-locality key because issuing non-locality keys indiscriminately could significantly burden the entire network.
Therefore, a cost is demanded. In return, this mechanism operates in such a way that the hidden address gets incorporated into the Ethereum-style address.

In a recent post, we introduced a secret encryption memo feature that can be securely recovered anytime using a 16-seed phrase.
We mentioned that deleting this data(wallet.dat and walletsql.dat) after use would enhance its security. However, it's important to note that there exists "data recovery software" in the world, capable of restoring deleted data.
At SORA, in addition to developing blockchain layers L1 and L2, we also conduct research and development on drive inspection and data recovery software. Indeed, it is possible to recover data that has been deleted.
Therefore, simply deleting data does not ensure it cannot be recovered.
To address this, SORA has decided to distribute "data erasure software" that ensures deleted data cannot be recovered by any data recovery software.

- simply launch and drag and drop either the wallet.dat and walletsql.dat file.
Just like that, it guarantees deletion of data beyond the recovery capabilities of any "data recovery software."

We have now enabled handling of Ethereum-style addresses and are implementing the import of highly secure private keys.
We have enhanced the security for strings while adhering to the Wallet Import Format (WIF). For blockchain, private keys must never be left in memory unless absolutely necessary.
In fact, computer memory can be accessed (read and modified) by external programs, including the heap.
Therefore, it's important to be cautious of malware due to this vulnerability. Even after memory is used and freed, it can remain in the heap. As you can see from the implementation of memory allocators, freeing memory merely sets a release flag the content remains unchanged. This is because the memory can be reused by overwriting it, so there's no need to erase it deliberately.
However, this memory can still be read, which demands stringent management, especially for private keys. Therefore, it is necessary to overwrite and erase the used memory before freeing it.

We have now enabled the transfer and receipt of SORA using Ethereum-style addresses. Currently, in the testnet, we are conducting extensive verifications to ensure the reliable functioning of private and public keys.
