My heart is with the families and communities impacted by the ICE raids and deportations happening right now. Everyone deserves to be treated with humanity and dignity, and no one should be living in fear. The way this is being carried out is devastating to witness, and it’s a clear sign that we need a more accessible path to citizenship, one rooted in compassion and not fear.
I recently heard this sound bite and it really stayed with me, a reminder that no matter the titles or chapters along the way, it all comes back to movement. Thank you @BackToGreat for putting that into words so thoughtfully 🙏🏼 Today, on International Choreographers Day, I’m reflecting on how much of who I am was shaped by the choreographers and mentors who believed in me and challenged me along the way. Your creativity and passion continue to inspire me. Shoutout to choreographers everywhere, you and your hard work deserve to be celebrated today! ❣️✨
The holidays are a beautiful reminder of how powerful it can be to show up for one another. This season, I had the honor of sponsoring 2 kids and clearing their wish lists. If you are looking for a way to give back, I encourage you to connect with your local schools or community organizations, or participate in a Salvation Army Angel Tree program in your area. There are so many ways to make a difference right where you are. 🤍🎄 XoP
