With a torn ACL and at just about 230 pounds, Selinsgrove’s Nate Schon rolls through this to get the fall and secure his second state championship ... He’s the first multi-time state champ in Selinsgrove history
Deepest sympathies to the Southern Columbia athletics family, the school district & the Sharrow family on the passing of former SCA athletics director Terry Sharrow.
Tremendous success in that athletics program during his long tenure.
Good man, father & husband.

Congratulations to @SoCoTigerSports football coach Jim Roth on his 456th career win & a new state victories record, surpassing the late George Curry.
Congratulations to the Tigers on state championship No. 11, nearly twice as many as Curry won at Berwick.

We’re hearing that @PIAASports is looking to eliminate overnight stays for tournaments this season. That likely means 8-man brackets for state and regional tournaments. Also could limit how many advance from districts. Small ones, such as D5 AA, would only get 1 per weight.
Was informed my story on @hile_logan won 2nd place in the Keystone Press Awards. I am humbled beyond belief and still blessed I was able to tell that amazing story.
Selinsgrove's Nate Schon's bid for second straight Class AAA state wrestling title falls just short as Cathedral Prep's Dorian Crosby records 3-1 win in 220-pound final. @dailyitemsports
