CSO PLATFORM FOR REFORM MEETING WITH VIETNAM RISE
On 1 July 2025, CSO Platform for Reform and Pusat KOMAS held a meeting with representatives from Vietnam Rise, Ms Angelina Huynh (Co-Founder and Executive Director) and Ms Fung Au (Programme Manager)
across Southeast Asia. Vietnam Rise shared about their community-based initiatives, including civic education, youth empowerment and advocacy efforts that foster inclusive participation and social change.
The speakers discussed the viability of the one-third representation for Sabah and Sarawak in light of justice, equitable governance and state-federal relations within the Federation of Malaysia.

This roundtable served as a platform for dialogue among key stakeholders including policymakers, constitutional experts and civil society representatives on the issue of one-third parliamentary representation for Sabah and Sarawak based on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
On 25 June 2025, CSO Platform for Reform in collaboration with the Malaysian Bar, organised a Roundtable Discussion on Rights, Equality and MA63: Restoring One-Third Parliamentary Representation for Sabah & Sarawak, held at the Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia.
