Last week CSO-SUN and @GlblCtznImpact appeared before the Expanded Planning and Budget Parliamentary Committee to present the budget analysis for #nutrition. Some of the highlights from the report are as follows:
- The budget speech made no mention of nutrition
- Increase in the number of beneficiaries under the food security pack programme from 288,492 to 290,000 vulnerable but viable households.
- Livestock services plans to recruit more extension staff to support livestock management.
