CST welcomes the news that Hamza Iqbal, Rehan Khan, Judex Atshatshi, and Saif Ali have all pleaded guilty to their roles in the arson attack on @Hatzola ambulances earlier this year.

This was an appalling antisemitic act against a volunteer ambulance service providing emergency medical assistance to people of all backgrounds across north London, simply because those ambulances belonged to a Jewish charity.

It caused immense shock and distress across the Jewish community and we thank the @metpoliceuk and the @CPSUK for ensuring that the perpetrators have been held to account.

CST will continue to work closely with the police, Hatzola and other community partners to protect the Jewish community from further antisemitic attacks.

Not every report became an antisemitic incident. Alongside 1,926 antisemitic incidents, CST also investigated 2,264 reports that were ultimately not categorised as antisemitic. Many involved suspicious activity at Jewish sites, reflecting increased vigilance and reporting.

The findings will help shape the Commission's final report, informing both its vision for a stronger, more connected society and the practical recommendations it will make to help achieve it. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open until 31 August.
