Planning application to build x2 houses where the 2 garages are located in the garden on the corner of Godwin & Albion Roads.
Can we please stop overdevelopment of land in #Cliftonville
More pressure on parking & is taking away valuable parking spaces

Please register & comment on the link below for the planning application to convert 20 Cliff Terrace (former Simply Danish shop) from commercial premises to residential. We must not lose this thriving commercial strip in our neighbourhood #Cliftonville

It wasn’t the best frontage anyway but this is a missed opportunity to replace it with something that befits a potentially beautiful #conservation area. #margate#cliftonville
The #CliftonvilleConservationArea has lost another timber-framed shop front, at 112 Northdown Road (Papa's). It’s been replaced with a bright orange, metal framed window. This is an unauthorised alteration so we have reported it to the TDC enforcement so they can take action.
Heritage at Risk register reveals at least 502 conservation areas are classed as at risk for 2018. Find your nearest CA at risk on Civic Voice's https://t.co/IsP9xSRCqJ
With 70+ high streets designated as at-risk conservation areas in their own right, we urge local authorities use this new funding from @HistoricEngland to help regenerate the high street with community support https://t.co/UkxbqS5CW5 @Laura_Sandys@ianmichharvey@HE_ChiefExec
TDC have received a retrospective planning application following the unauthorised removal last year of the beautiful original shop front at 166 Northdown Road. You can view and comment on the application here.. https://t.co/uHRMRlIuDz

Glad we’ve been mentioned I put a lot of time and effort into supporting this idea since I moved to Margate this is very close to my heart - to turn this into a public realm where all can access a #palaceforthepeople is the only way thanks to all 🙏
If you wish to comment on the lack of parking for the proposed x15 new flats at the back of Bugsy’s Bowling on Edgar Rd #Cliftonville please use the attached link. (Only x5 parking spaces are being provided for the x15 flats) https://t.co/fq0S8fpRp7
While we'd agree with retail to residential - it has to be done with strategic intent, eg to condense a retail area. On Northdown Road it's happening on ad hoc basis, breaking shopping line and damaging viability of other businesses.
TDC planning enforcement has confirmed that without article 4 directives in place they are unable to ensure this wall is reinstated through the planning process. #cliftonville#conservationarea#heritage
@terryshale Previous schemes have shown the pool as a garden, and there’s also the issue of ownership, as the pool is not owned ty the people who have the main building.
Those dreaded words "The provision of new apartments makes the project viable." No mention of the #lido pool, part of the spa hotel maybe? Hopefully we’ll see the detailed proposals soon! #Cliftonville

@jaimebishop@IAmCliftonville “Sensitive flourish” are words this developer will be familiar with from their strip club owning days... https://t.co/iAPjhY2BTV
