RESTful APIs may be dead soon. Instead, web services may expose a single POST entry point for a prompt. Internally, an AI agent may decide how to interpret it and what to do with the data and the database.
The Raiders having zero primetime games is a sign that the NFL has nothing but disdain for the silver and black.
A message to the world that we’re irrelevant.
That we’d be buried before the season even starts.
But what the NFL meant for evil may have accidentally saved the Raiders season.
They forgot Kirk Cousins’ greatest superpower:
1PM football.
Kirk Cousins in non-primetime games: 73-56-2 (.565)
That projects to 10-7 over a full season.
The Raiders are going to make the playoffs because the NFL tried to bury us.

@jackfriks You never code on production. You promote. In their case is was super edge case but it always comes back to bite you. All backups on the same volume is something you never do. But blame ai I guess.
AI is making it dramatically easier to build advanced web experiences, such as WebGL, shaders, 3D interfaces, and highly interactive UI.
But that’s not the right question.
The real question is: should we be using them in web applications?
In most cases, the answer is still no.
Business applications succeed on:
Speed
Clarity
Usability
Maintainability
Not visual complexity.
Technologies like WebGL absolutely have their place in product visualization, data storytelling, and immersive experiences, but they are still the exception, not the rule.
AI lowers the barrier to building complex interfaces.
It does not remove the responsibility to choose the right tool.
Just because we can build it… doesn’t mean we should.
@noahforkansas Really!!!? No sane Kansas family is having this conversation. Grab your car and drive him to hospital if that is your main concern. No one thinks about money when life or death of YOUR kid is on the line. It's not like the 911 operator asks for your credit card.
Just got 5h rate limited by @OpenAI Codex.
I didn’t realize Codex needed to take smoke breaks…
So much for AI working 24/7, apparently, it clocks out mid-shift and leaves me holding the keyboard.
I normally don't do this, but trying to cancel a subscription should not be hidden or hard to find. I recently went to cancel a subscription that I had NOT used in years. GoToMeeting was the company. Look at this screen to manage subscriptions. You have to click the hidden hamburger menu, and the cancel link is barely visible in red. Very scammy!
I have a website that needs to be public and run against local resources (Automation, local service execution). The website needs to be hosted internally. Security is my concern. Is a @cloudflare tunnel the way to go?
AI just showed me an ad for “Kobe Sneakers”… with a photo of Air Jordans.
Somewhere, an algorithm confidently went:
“Basketball player… basketball shoes… nailed it.”
This is the same technology people think will run the world.
