I’m proud to announce that today, our Superintendent offered each of my seniors’ contracts to teach at CHISD after they obtain their Bachelor’s degrees! On top of this, they’ve completed the requirements & are TEA certified educational aides! How awesome is this? #proudteacher

Our final CTE Month Spotlight teacher is Maci Bowne. She is the Graphic Design/Illustration teacher for CTE. She graduated from UNT w/a Communication Design degree & worked in the Design industry before deciding to teach. This is her 1st year teaching at CHHS. 🖥 #ctemonth

CTE Spotlight teacher, Ty Whitworth-After an 11-year career in corrections at the TDCJ, he began teaching Criminal Justice at CHHS in 2016. He is an NRA firearms instructor, 'AWARE' Self Defense defensive tactics instructor, & Level II Security Officer instructor👮‍♂️ #ctemonth

Principles of Manufacturing and Ag Mechanics and Metal Technology teacher Charles Hesse has been w/CH for 3 years now. He has his BS in Industrial Technology from The University of Texas at Tyler and has worked in the HVAC/ Facilities maintenance field for 20 years. #ctemonth2022
