Beaches-East York, tomorrow polls are open from 9:30-9:30.
For the last month, I have had the pleasure of meeting more of you, my community, to advocate for a future where our MP puts us first and confronts the real issues of the day.
Get out and make your voice heard tomorrow
To every volunteer who knocked doors, and everyone who voted for me: thank you. This campaign was never about one election. It was about building something real in Beaches-East York, and that groundwork doesn't disappear when the polls close.
This isn't the end of the story ๐ฑ
Two days left in BeachesโEast York. Breaking from my party isn't about independence for its own sake, it's about representing you when the party and the riding don't agree. Reasoning public within 48 hrs, every time. Polls open Aug 31.

5/5 I'm not asking you to trust a commission you've never heard of. I'm telling you the rules I want it to work by: test everything, protect low- and middle-income Canadians, and make filing simple by default.

4/5 My commitment as your MP: introduce a House of Commons motion calling for this Commission, and publish an annual, plain-language tax guide for Beaches-East York small businesses. No government does that today.
3/5 Since March 2025 alone: the carbon tax is gone, the bottom income tax bracket dropped, GST was removed for first-time home buyers, and a planned capital gains hike was cancelled. Real relief, real changes, but none of it asks if the whole system still makes sense.
2/ 5 What I'm calling for: a Royal Commission on Tax Reform. An independent public inquiry, not run by the government of the day, that studies the whole system and reports back publicly. Canada's last one, the Carter Commission, ran from 1962 to 1966.
Beach Metro asked all the Beaches-East York candidates the same questions this week.

"We just passed the strictest bail law in a generation. Before we promise the next one, let's find out if the system we have can run it."
I'd rather tell you the truth than promise something a judge undoes later.

Beautiful evening in East Beaches, out meeting voters at the doors ๐
Team Cameron talking about the issues that matter most in Beaches-East York, from affordable housing to accountability in Ottawa.
Building a future Canada, 1 riding, 1 member, 1 honest conversation at a time.
17% of shooting-homicide suspects in Toronto were already out on bail for firearms charges.
Ottawa passed a tougher bail law, then funded it with $250,000, data collection only. Ontario is spending $112M to actually run it.

Whether one agrees with the CFP agenda or not, Cameron Thomas is a running a BEY-first campaign and he cares about his community. Barring him from a candidates debate means many voters in BEY who would otherwise vote for him can't be exposed to/hear him. LET CAMERON SPEAK! โ
Even though I wasn't invited to participate in tonight's debate I showed up to hear what everyone else had to offer.
Unsurprisingly I'm still the only candidate with a truly local platform that can deliver on the promise of real representation that this riding deserves.
for firearms offences.
Ottawa's fix? $250K per province. For data collection.
Ontario's actual fix? $112M for capacity.
I'll fight for real cost-sharing, not promises courts will strike down. (2/2)

We just passed the strictest bail law in a generation.
Before Ottawa promises the next one, let's find out if the system we have can actually run it.
