@russellcrowe Honestly, I'm not sure why this isn't the gold standard in how a star should handle a situation like this. It's HIS time to give or not give. He sets clear parameters and indicates he's willing to give his time as long as everyone cooperates.
@AdamKinzinger@DineshDSouza This. My God, Dinesh. What the hell happened to you? I remember being so proud of getting your autograph as a young Republican Capitol Hill staffer. Now you're just another Trump sycophant.
@jasonscheer I hope Tommy is able to schedule a home and home with UNC. Given they took over our first F4 in 25 years with their drama, I'd love to see us wipe the floor with them a couple times in the years ahead.
@Laurie_520@CycloneDave69 This 100%. Tommy Lloyd made the point that the media keeps wanting to find a quote while Arizona just wants to play ball. Joining the Big12 has made Arizona better, and Tommy acknowledges that.
@ChancellorTV@Alec_White_22 As an Arizona grad that lives in Big12 country, I agree with this 100%. The Big12 Tournament in KC is next level. Arizona fans should try it out before they bash it. The Power & Light District is more fun than any spot I have visited in Vegas.
@ChancellorTV To clarify, Tommy Lloyd isn't saying it should be moved. He's pointing out that the media is making an issue about it while he and Arizona just want to play ball. I love that he pointed out that he didn't choose to be in the Big12 but loves the Big12.
A reporter asked Tommy Lloyd about moving around the venue for the Big 12 tournament after Lloyd was critical of the fan involvement/atmosphere during today's game against UCF. Of course, not as many Arizona fans go to Kansas City as they did to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 tournament.
"I want to talk about the ball game. ... 100% would I want this in Vegas? Yeah, 100% I would. But you know what? I didn't ask to be in the Big 12. We got put in the Big 12. I didn't have any input on it, but I love being in the Big 12. So if they tell me we're playing in Kansas City, we're loading up the plane and going to Kansas City. We're not going to sit there and overthink it. You guys (reporters) can do all that stuff, or you can have another coach give you opinions on what he would want. I just want to get on the floor and try to kick ass and play 40 minutes. That's it."
@wilnerhotline It's almost like UCLA would have been better off being in a West Coast conference. Too bad they partnered with USC to destroy the one they had.
