@HBendaas@mattyglesias@Ibrahim_Zabad the article says they concluded that they were "intentionally aiming at children" because they used big bombs in populated areas.
the actions are unjust, abhorrent, etc. but it's a logical leap to go from "they don't care who they kill" to "they're aiming at the kids"
@nklamun@mattyglesias@Ibrahim_Zabad if you knew anything about the Holocaust you wouldn't compare them. I think the Israelis are being downright barbaric in their approach to the war and their lack of care for civilian deaths. they're not doing a Holocaust though
@EleganteStache@mattyglesias why is it hypocritical for someone who believes in tripling the US population to vacation somewhere rural? tripling the population wouldn't eliminate rural areas.
@mattsheehan92@MattZeitlin the majority of the voting population dont have any student loan debt - doesn't really matter how old they are. why would they support a transfer from them to others, especially when the others generally have higher salaries?
@mattyglesias Politically I think it would be hard to argue against "eliminating income tax for half the country" by saying "but in dollar terms rich people benefit more"
