On Monday, 27 March, The Consumer Codes & ADR Team attended the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme (CCAS) Panel meeting in London. Among other discussions, we confirmed that we will proceed with a joint ADR & CCAS Forum this year at the annual CTSI Conference in Birmingham.
At the end of November 2022, CTSI conducted Electric Vehicle Consumer Codes’ (EVCC) first biennial audit since their approval in 2020. We are pleased to announce that they have passed their audit and thank them for their cooperation throughout the auditing procedure. #ADR
Suppose a trader has failed to resolve their dispute. In that case, the trader must direct the consumer to an approved ADR body and inform them whether they will engage in the ADR procedure. ADR is a faster, cheaper way to resolve disputes without the need for the courts.

In November, CTSI undertook a biennial audit with @cedrsays for the re-approval of nine of their consumer ADR schemes. The schemes handled over 1,200 disputes over the past two years, with an average resolution time of 44 days from receipt!

We are glad to announce that @Kent_cc’s ADR scheme passed its most recent biennial audit. CTSI found that Kent County Council provides an effective ADR procedure for consumer complaints and has handled over 400 consumer disputes!
