Please define what you mean by "our people". Last I checked, Democrats have been extremely generous to illegal aliens. Not so much to US citizens that have lived in Ohio their entire lives.

What exactly does "investing in" mean? What is your background in public policy economics? The only thing I know about Democrat economic policy is they love to raise taxes and give the money to their friends and cronies.

By "every family" do you mean the ones that work for it or massive subsidies for "people of color" only?

I can get at least 5 US citizens from my neighborhood in Ohio right now who would be more than thrilled at the opportunity for a good paying job if the Feds would pay for them to get there and pay for their food and housing while there. And unlike the Haitians, they'd be willing to move back home if the gig is up. Bonus to US and Ohio - they already know the language, laws and customs of the area.

This whole immigrant narrative is a sham.

Apple can raise their prices because the market is willing to pay for them. There are plenty of less expensive alternatives; Apple hardly has a monopoly on cell phones and laptops.

I am not concerned about the price of Apple products, I am concerned about being forced to pay unaffordable taxes that Congress is more than willing to waste on fraud and abuse.

"Established deep roots" - the Haitians didn't show up in Springfield Ohio until 2018, with the majority arriving after 2020. They are recent transplants.

Since most of them are doing low-skill jobs (which they never applied for or personally chose), how about if DeWine try transplanting US citizens to do those jobs.

I don't care where they came from, just get them out.

We are being sold two different stories at the same time. First, tens of millions of US citizens are on government handout programs because they can't find meaningful work. Second, tens of millions of illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay because we need them in our workforce.

Deport every single one of them. That at least solves half the problem.

I would tell them to stop whining, learn to live on a budget, cut unnecessary expenses and work towards a better paying job. The LAST thing a recovering addict needs is to get lost in a "poor, poor me" cycle.

Are you trying to argue that somehow Apple products are a basic human right/necessity and should be available to all? Only a multimillionaire would think like that. We normal people recognize Apple products as luxury products.
