This past weekend the CT Alliance of YMCAs was a Leadership Sponsor at the CT PTA 2003 Symposium and Expo. We had an opportunity to meet almost 100 parents who were interested in the Ys after school programs.
I want to Thank the @CTYAlliance for naming me a “2022 Legislative Champion”. Working with the @ymca and other partners during and after the pandemic, we were able to expand child care, re-open resident summer camps, and work to combat staffing shortages in childcare settings.
State Rep. Joe Zullo and Michelle Benivegna from Mayor Carfora’s office visited YMCA Camp Hays in East Haven. We were joined by Dave Stevenson and Matt Laprino from the Central CT Coast YMCA and of course the great camp staff and children.
