I’m sharing this beautiful and powerful song from @springsteen, that he wrote in dedication to the people of Minneapolis and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Take a listen.
The art of resistance, the voice of artists, well known and every day people all over the world singing, writing, speaking up and out is so inspiring. We the people are alive, empowered, and making a difference with our voices.
My friends: use your voice in whatever way makes sense to you! Poetry, singing, writing, speaking, loving, cooking, painting. Show up in the way that you can. We are all creative beings with a voice. We the united people, of these United States, are rising above. We are showing that we care about our neighbors, our fellow human beings. Have no doubt the people are rising. It’s a beautful thing.
@Emolclause I was Chief of Party on a $25 million project. We assisted 1 million farmers to earn $ 100 a month more. We supported them through Covid and hurricanes. USAID did fantastic work in supporting human development and expanding the US brand.
@ClarksonsFarm1 Marmite, tangy mayo and cheddar cheese sandwich. Bovril also acceptable. For meat eaters not vegans. But then again they would have problem with the whole sandwich. Really who cares.
I Like Me (2025)
This beautiful montage, set to Dan Aykroyd's eulogy at John Candy's funeral, opens the film. It’s a visual cue to prepare yourself. I did, and still cried four times.
It’s no secret I’m a fan of the spoken word and no better is it showcased by the talented poets who craft masterpieces with the words I have come to rely on to clumsily express my own feelings.
Meet Caitlin O’ Ryan a talented British poet who wrote this masterpiece of commentary on the daily anxiety of women in our society. It’s called ‘At what point?’ And is part of a new book of poetry soon to be released.
If you are interested you can pre-order it using the link below and no I have not been paid to promote it, I don’t even know Caitlin, I just love her work.
