At most Afton’s Agony could be involved which seems implied to be the case in HW2 and the Memory Dolls. The only big lingering problem is the obvious lack of context and how or when this would’ve happened

@Opera_Ghost_Kay @_callmesebby I do think it does explore some of his motivation, at least to a certain point but it doesn't give anything hugely substantial. Which is something I'd want a future game to cover. Since I definitely think Edwin's House became the experiment house, Post-SOTM.

@Opera_Ghost_Kay @_callmesebby The Nightmare Experiments were definitely to compensate for Dream Theory and yet still people take it as Scott retconning the story because Dream theory was right (it wasn't) As for characterizing William. I think there's definitely worse media out there than Dittophobia

@Opera_Ghost_Kay @_callmesebby Dittophobia is ok as an explanation for it's existence. But it's existence itself was not necessary to begin with since the main gameplay of FNAF 4 is still just a dream anyway. I do hope at the very least it's explored a bit more in the games in someway.
